One of the most nostalgic spots of my childhood, my grandfather Adilson's office is one of his favorite places in his house and even today he usually spends all day there, along with things that he kept for over 40 years.
This is a personal project where I document this space and the objects inserted in it, using photography as a resource to preserve the memory of that place and all the affection that is involved in it.
Memory is essential for the reconstruction of the past and the understanding of identity. Between old photographs of family members and important old politicians, calendars, documents, and objects, my grandfather is proud of his small space, his organized mess, and his past preserved through historical and social memories of life.
Going back to this location that was present throughout my childhood, in some way, makes me go back in time.
